At Fresh Options, we take pride in providing our customers with fresh and safe meats. Expert veterinarians and technical personnel supervise our farms and take care of the animals’ health and nutrition. We develop our own high-quality feeds and this ensures our animals are safe and healthy. From the farms, animals are slaughtered daily in “AA” establishments accredited by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS).

We follow a strict quality control process handled by our expert personnel who keep an eye on the entire production process to prevent meat contamination during slaughtering, dressing, deboning and further processing. The prepared meat products are then delivered to Fresh Options Meat Shops in Central Luzon and Metro Manila via refrigerated vans. Our First-In, First-Out system ensures that you get only the freshest and safest meats.

Our History and Milestones

The idea for Fresh Options began with a friend’s offer to veterinarian and entrepreneur Dr. Robert H. Lo to sell his produce in a space at SPC Supermarket in Angeles, Pampanga. On April 1, 2005, Fresh Options was born. Dr. Lo recounts: “Our first store was very small, around 20 square meters. But I took every possible effort to inform people that we have opened so we displayed 120 banners around Angeles. My friends scoffed at the idea but people came to buy.”

Today, Dr. Lo is now the proud President and CEO of one of the country’s fastest-rising companies. It has 74 branches in Pampanga, Bataan, Olongapo, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Metro Manila.

In the future, Dr. Lo plans to expand the Fresh Options product line. Currently, all Fresh Options Meat shops offer fresh pork, chicken, fish, and beef, along with its Value-Added, ready-to-cook products.

1996: Expanded to third party breeder and hatchery 2008: Developed the central depot
1997: Reached half a million chicken population 2009: Established Fresh Options in Metro Manila
